Please check this site for more information.  My photos don’t do justice to the real beauty of this magnificent architecture. I do suggest for you to see it yourself as millions of people did.  Enjoy!

These are gorgeous photographs of an impressive structure. I was there in FEb. when I was on a Photo Tour of Oman and Dubai.

We stayed at the Mosque through sunset and the blue hour. I have some photos from that time period on my blog It’s really worth doing that if you are a photographer. It also became quite peaceful as the crowds had left.

I also enjoyed touring the Palace….not the hotel but the big government building that I understand is the equivalent of our White House here in the United States. It was gold and glitzy and quite a marvel.

I’d love to go back to Abu Dhabi and spend some more time there.

  2. I’ve been here for almost 6 years and its a shame I haven’t been to Grand Mosque 😦 I am flabbergasted by its Architectural design… looks heaven to me

    • Yes it is as what the name implies “Grand”. When I went inside I felt the tranquility of the surroundings. Really awesome! Try to visit one day and better wear a long sleeve top and a socks or you may borrow an abaya inside which I did. 🙂

  3. WOW!!! Amazing…I would love to see that in person…holy smokes!!! I can hear the Arabian Nights music playing in the background. Can you imagine living there? Again, so clean and of course the architecture…love it!!! Thanks for sharing…I’m going to check out the site too!!

    • I am living here in UAE AD at the moment but still feels like a tourist 🙂 soon we will move to an apartment so I should feel like a local after awhile. My past post “Living in a Box” states how I feel living in a hotel so if you haven’t check that one would be glad if you do. Thanks a lot. 🙂
