SHEIK ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE, Abu Dhabi UAE
Please check this site for more information. My photos don’t do justice to the real beauty of this magnificent architecture. I do suggest for you to see it yourself as millions of people did. Enjoy!

Grand Mosque AD, vinneve
These are gorgeous photographs of an impressive structure. I was there in FEb. when I was on a Photo Tour of Oman and Dubai.
We stayed at the Mosque through sunset and the blue hour. I have some photos from that time period on my blog DesignDestinations.org. It’s really worth doing that if you are a photographer. It also became quite peaceful as the crowds had left.
I also enjoyed touring the Palace….not the hotel but the big government building that I understand is the equivalent of our White House here in the United States. It was gold and glitzy and quite a marvel.
I’d love to go back to Abu Dhabi and spend some more time there.

Yes it is as what the name implies “Grand”. When I went inside I felt the tranquility of the surroundings. Really awesome! Try to visit one day and better wear a long sleeve top and a socks or you may borrow an abaya inside which I did. 🙂

I am living here in UAE AD at the moment but still feels like a tourist 🙂 soon we will move to an apartment so I should feel like a local after awhile. My past post “Living in a Box” states how I feel living in a hotel so if you haven’t check that one would be glad if you do. Thanks a lot. 🙂
