In response to the Bird weekly – photo challenge.
If you have been here in New Zealand you will know that most birds of any feather are mostly tamed and people friendly. They can walk with you while strolling in the park or they can persistently ask you for some bread crumbs. Life is good for these birds as they are loved by many people who always bring foods for them and yes they can be cheeky at times.

There are more to see and discover around New Zealand with all types of birds whether capable of flying or not. Some birds are natives here. If you are a bird lover/watcher NZ is your happy place! Cheers!
The birds are beautiful, thanks for sharing this.

Omg that procession of king penguins is so adorbs! 🙂 I usually don’t have close encounters with birds here in the Philippines (well except for chicken hehe). How do you dodge bird droppings though?

Would you believe that we haven’t experienced bird poos here in NZ but in Melbourne? I guess that’s a sign for luck coz that time I didn’t know I was pregnant haha! Birds here so far are tamed and behaved.

What a beautiful sunny day! I remember being in Aus and enjoying all the birds. They are not as casual as you described the ones in NZ though. Anyway, really nice photos!
